While I have never watched a single episode of the hit anime show, Naruto, I was informed of something quite insightful, which has been etched within the premise of the riveting show. It was about the ankle weights that the protagonist wore all along his tumultuous story arc. What particularly enamours me about this part of the show is the notion that it tries to implicates, in a rather illustrative yet metaphorical form. A quick backdrop is hence vital at this point, and a huge disclaimer about the narrative’s accuracies/inaccuracies that may follow in the coming few lines, as I am just reiterating what I have heard about the show: the young warrior deliberately wears a set of ankle weights at all times, from training to most of his fights as well, up until the very end when he feels it’s the right time to let them loose. This is quite an impressive take on how one can learn about the seeming ‘shackles’ that impede, if not prohibits, ones ability to achieve all the intended goals of life one envisions.
